Needs Toroid filter By Guest
A couple of F240-77 Ferrite Toroids completely eliminated the RFI generated by this charger. I strung about 20 turns of the 115 volt cable through one Toroid and 15 turns of the DC cable through the other.

RFI a Problem By Earl
Unit works well for maintaining batteries but in a Ham radio scenerio the unit generates RFI especially on the HF bands and must be turned off before the HF radio can be used. Doesn't bother VHF or UHF much. Was hoping to use as a battery maintainer for a mountain top repeater but the RFI may bother other repeaters on other freqs. Our power goes down a lot on the mountain tops and was hoping to switch over to total battery power with a maintainer to stop the surge damage to the repeater.
